How do I find a Journal Impact Factor?

Answer

The database Journal Citation Reports (JCR) includes Journal Impact Factors. To access it from the library website, click on “Find Databases” at the bottom of the Search the Library box, then search for JCR.

In this database, you can search for the name of a journal to find its citation report, including its Journal Impact Factor. Not every journal is included in JCR! If you can’t find metrics for a particular journal, contact your Subject Librarian or email researchimpact@ualberta.ca. For more information about research metrics, visit the Research Impact guide and the Introduction to Research Impact tutorial.
