How do I add a paper book or article to course materials?

Professors and instructors who want to include hard copy (print) resources in Course Materials should create a reading list for their course and include the necessary books. This will trigger the purchase of any books that we don't already own for inclusion in our Course Materials collection (they will be purchased as ebooks by default, if ebook versions are available).

Adding articles to our course materials collection is best done by adding the article to your course reading list.

If the article exists in a print journal in our collection and you would like to add the physical journal issue to Course Materials, please indicate the volume/issue information via the bookmarking extension additional fields, the manual bookmarking process, or by adding a "Note for Library" when your item has been added to your list, as shown in the image below.
