How long after an article is published will the library get access?
Answer
Often times, journal publishers impose an embargo period on their articles, not making them available electronically via databases for a certain amount of time. Embargo periods vary from publisher to publisher and from journal to journal, but whenever possible, our catalogue will indicate if the most recent issue(s) are not available through our databases. For example, when doing an eJournals search, it may say that the "Most recent 3 month(s) are not available".
If you are unable to find a recently published article using the library catalogue, please ask us!
