Is there a way to search all of the Library's databases at once?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no way to search across every single of our databases using one single search engine. The EBSCO Discovery System (EDS) search box on our homepage searches for print and ebook holdings in the NEOS Libraries catalogue AND ~300 databases AND the Education and Research Archive (ERA) all in one search. The U of A Library subscribes to around 1500 databases, so this searches only a small amount of them.

The Library recommends looking at Subject Guides to help identify which databases focus on your subject area, and then search directly in those databases.
