What does this error message mean: "Your ID or Password were not recognized"?

This error message appears when an invalid CCID or password is used to access UALibrary resources.

Your CCID is your user ID for a variety of U of A campus resources. You can find your CCID before the @ualberta.ca in your U of A email address. When asked for your CCID, do not include the @ualberta.ca portion.

You can test your CCID using the Test Your CCID Password form. If there is an issue with your login, please contact the Staff Service Centre.

If you are a member of the public using a temporary Library Network Access ID, this error message appears when accessing resources restricted to current faculty, students and staff. Please reach out to us to confirm the conditions of use associated with the resource you are attempting to access.
