What is a book review?
Answer
Book reviews are brief articles that provide commentary on books. Although they are often published in academic journals, they do not qualify as scholarly articles. Book reviews:
- Are short (usually only one or two pages)
- Sometimes have the phrase "book review" in the title
- May be published in newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals
Examples of book reviews:
- Book Review of "University Governance in Canada: Navigating complexity" by Lang, Daniel L.
- Minto Reviews "Soucouyant: A Novel of Forgetting by David Chariandy" by Minto, Deonne
